                 Profile              Danone is a French food and beverage company that has focused its
                                      activities around four areas: fresh dairy products, bottled waters, medical
                                      nutrition, and infant nutrition.
                                      The company is among the global leaders in these four sectors, with its
                                      products sold  at world level.

                           Challenge  During the covid 19 crisis the question of the remote work took and
                                      important place in the company: “how to allow our staff to work from
                                      home       without      suffering     from     social     isolation”
                                      They decided to implement a mental health and well-being policy as
                                      remote work can lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection from
                                      colleagues.   Danone   has   introduced   initiatives   to   support   employee
                                      mental health and well-being, such as virtual wellness programs and
                                      access to mental health resources.



                            Solution  Here are some of the solutions they have implemented:
                                      A virtual wellness programs such as yoga and mindfulness sessions, to
                                      support employee well-being and reduce stress.
                                      An employee assistance programmes it allow them to have access to
                                      confidential counselling and support services for employees who may be
                                      experiencing mental health challenges or personal issues.
                                      A virtual mental health resources available to employees, such as online
                                      mental health assessments and self-help tools.
                                      A specific manager training based on how to support employee mental
                                      health and well-being in a remote work environment.
                                      The company insist on the importance of a regular check-ins which is for
                                      the managers to have regular check-ins with their teams to monitor
                                      employee well-being, discuss any challenges they may be facing, and
                                      provide support and resources, even if they are working full time or only
                                      part time from home.
                                      And finally, a flexible work arrangements is part of the process for the
                                      employees who may be struggling with their mental health or balancing
                                      work and personal responsibilities.

                                      Overall, Danone has recognized the importance of supporting employee
                                      mental   health   and   well-being   in   the   context   of   remote   work   as   a
                                      fundamental part of motivation and employees efficacity.
