Thematic Concentration. Struggle to focus and to pay attention, especially in
                                        mentally demanding tasks.

                 0. Problematic “In my case, I have been working remotely for a few years now, in
situation in my job/my different companies, and it is generally ok. I don’t have to commute to
organisation regarding the office and therefore I don’t need to have my lunch sitting in the car,
flexible work which is a big plus. At the minute, we came back to working in the
office and we telework only one day a week. Depending on the task, I
actually prefer it. Now that I have arranged a room to convert it into
my office, it really helps me when I need a little bit of silence to draft or
analyse. Before this, I really struggled to concentrate or to stay focus,
mainly because of my daughter. She is now 2 and this has definitely
been my biggest challenge. If it might be difficult for some family
members to understand and respect your working hours, imagine for a
                                        toddler.”

                    B. How do you “As I said earlier, this situation has improved the moment I was able to
think the allocate a space for my own that created a mental but also physical
situation could obstacle. Of course, my partner is there to help me make this work. For
be improved? other people experiencing similar situations, I believe this is the most
convenient solution. I can’t think of anything the company can do to
support you if the source of distraction lives under your same roof.
Now, when it comes to adults I think respecting each other’s times and
spaces is something we have to learn as a society. We have to slow
down, gain more patience and realise that not everyone is available at
the same time and that not everything is urgent.”
